When a timeout is officially called the ref has to honour that timeout and get inbetween the fighters and make sure it’s fair. Herb didn’t do that he let Alex ref the fight. That’s a mistake on herb’s part.

So he wasnt favoured by the change of positions (to a better one that the one he put himself in and got knocked down) that the low blow/timeout would have awarded him (each fighter going to their corner and poatan having time to recover...got it.
