another ko slam from Khabilov

I just feel bad for the inexperienced or less talented fighters that had to learn the hard way against this guy. Can't wait til he fights Johnny Hendrix or Matt Brown and they take his head off.

I would consider that 'spiking' rather than a legit suplex, as the guy was dropped onto the top of his head with Khabilov's weight on it to boot - should have been illegal, imo.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You also have no idea what spike is.

That was a textbook suplex.

Its like saying I wouldnt consider Big Country's uppercut a real punch and that it should be illegal.

Clearly Khabilov twists the direction of the throw, thus making it a legitimate slam rather than a spike. He did the same in his UFC bout.
Great technique.
Its like Anderson Silva throwing the knee against Chael when he was down, looks like its going to the head but it goes to the body when Chael protects his head. Brutally effective, and perfectly legal.
Don't confuse smart moves with someone trying to do illegal techniques.

Fighters who fight him in the UFC will be prepared for this from now on. They'll probably just hook the leg so the throw can't be made.

The scary part is that someone like GSP or Anderson or JJ, who are all constantly improving and trying techniques that work will incorporate this throw into their game.

Is it gonna take a death before the idiots who decide on the rules make this illegal?

I remember that now. That was on HDNet. Glad that guy is alright. Those slams are legal in other wrestling and grappling sports though.
