Ankalaev having a broken rib before the rematch with Alex

To all those who dismissed Alex being injured going into the first fight with Ankalaev, but right away believed Ankalaev had a broken rib going into the second fight. Please watch Ankalaev warming up with his coach in the locker room, before the fight. He was throwing multiple high kicks. I've had broken ribs many time and throwing high kicks would really hurt and maybe even worsen the injury.
If he really had a broken rib those strikes Alex landed there would have gotten an obvious reaction from Ank.
 
Both guys are warriors in my books for showing up to fight.

Khamzat would have pulled out.
What an unwarranted, oestrogen-soaked comment to bring a Khamzat crtiticism into the discussion completely off topic
 
Bruised ribs is common when dry humpsparring
 
No one goes in healthy unless they’re getting princess treatment by the company. Injuries when you are medically cleared and that didn’t cause you to pull out of the fight shouldn’t be used as an excuse, imo.
 
If I believe one guy, that he is fighting injured, it’s Alex. One of the most active champions and never pulled out in the ufc.

Yeah ankalaev wasn't himself for sure. But right now I don't want a third fight
It's hard to argue that Ankalaev "wasn't himself". He was bull rushed & wasn't able to do anything & got finished quickly.

Pereira on the other hand, when it was said he didn't look himself in their first fight, is believed to be legitimate because he went 25 minutes not fighting like he usually does.
 
ribs or what, perara broke his foot and still got a win, combat sports is brutal, you lose you lose stop making excuses like a fucing wimp
 
Bruised ribs is a lot more believable than broken ribs. You really cant do anything with a broken rib.

Saying he has "broken" ribs really hurts the credibility.

The way he was able to do a situp after the tko and stand was impossible for me for weeks when I had a broken rib.

Literally I couldn't do a situp to get out of bed. I had to roll to the side and do a pushup. I could plank then get to my knees to get up from the floor but could not do an ab crunch.
