Anime and Manga v40: Repeated Thread Necromancy Edition

Everyonew should be reading Adamasu no Majotachi ...that is all I have right now.

OH and Breaker part 3 is probably pushed to either later this year or early next year according the author(s)

I finally got around to finishing Kengan Asura. Kinda wish I hadn't bothered. Whit a shit sandwich of an ending. Major plotlines left completely unresolved and the character resolutions that we did get were entirely unsatisfying (even if you could see the biggest one coming ~40 chapters in advance).
Some of those plotlines might come around in Kengan Omega

Is there anything like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, or Outlaw Star that has come out in recent years that isn't some Shounen shit that starts good and invariably becomes trash at some stage?

I want to try Gangsta on Hulu but haven't gotten around to it and I know Black Lagoon is good as I started it but haven't finished it.
Bungou Stray Dogs. One of the best modern anime. I'm rewatching everything in preparation for season 3. Season 2 is one of the best season of any anime.

But as a prequel they could only be explained, not resolved. And nothing in Omega can change
them killing the damn protagonist in a misguided attempt to be Ashita no Joe. I don't care that it was foreshadowed well in advance, Ohma's death was stupid and meaningless. It was not emotionally impactful, poignant, and it didn't add anything to the plot.

Well the protagonist wasn't that interesting . I found the Real True Elite fighter of that Tourney to be the most interesting .

I don't think Ohma's development wasn't handled well at all. The most interesting parts of his backstory weren't well explained, and what we did get ended in a cliffhanger. We didn't really learn anything about "The Advance" and the karate dude's explanation to Ohma about the Niko style was cutoff and not shown to the reader.

ASIDE: The mid sentence/explanation cutoff is one of the "mystery building" storytelling techniques that I absolutely DESPISE. As a writer you're better off not bothering with that scene in the first place because all you're doing is frustrating the reader by withholding information from them. Once the story gets going the reader should learn everything as the POV character(s) learns it. It's fine to have things from before the narrative started be a mystery that's later revealed to the reader, but you shouldn't hide things from the reader as their happening. It's just bad technique.

For the people that read Tower of God, is the Hell Train(I think that's what it was called) arc done yet? It has to have been at least a year since I've read any.

Have you checked out Jigokuraku, it’s also known as Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. It has 50 chapters and I’ve liked it so far.

Record of Ragnarok Summary
Record of Ragnarok summary: The story begins when the gods call a convention to decide the whether to let humanity live or die, and settle on destroying humanity. But a lone valkyrie puts forward a suggestion to let the gods and humanity fight one last battle, as a last hope for humanity's continued survival. 13 gods will fight against 13 human champions in one-on-one battles to decide whether humanity lives or dies.
