No way Toky Ghoul manga is ending shit has tons of questions unanswered.
 
From what I've read the ending is really abrupt and people are seemingly in the mindset that there is going to be a part2 but that's not confirmed or anything.

I've read somewhere that some new law is forcing authors to abruptly end their series.

Some copyright related law.

Is there some truth to this ? Because HSDK felt like it ended out if nowhere leaving regular readers wanting

I've read it on a couple of places.
It could be speculation but we will know soon enough.
People are discussing it in anime sites.
 
HSDK is ending? guess this thread will move at a slower pace now.
 
that's quite worry sum makes you kinda think what other well-known to semi-well known manga that will abruptly close up shop because of this if anyone see's any information on this please copy and paste it here so everyone can see it.
 
what kinda law should force mangakas to end series?! I searched for a bit but can't find anything on that topic.

I don't know about traumatized but goddamn I have no idea how to react! It was nice to see Saiga and Hayato together in that one picture on the very last page. Its also good to see Ogata Isshinsai to be down to earth about Berserker and Lughs choices as well.

It was however strange to not see what happened to Kajima,Kushinada and the hachiou masters.

The ending of the series kind of came around abruptly. But I guess it was as good as any stopping point. Not every manga can go over 1,000 chapters like Ippo... And nearly 600 chapters is a damn good run.

I have to disagree! There is so much loose ends like:


Ganosukes reaction to the failed mission as well as finding out if he has/had a disciple.


Kensei Mas family and rival clan back in china.


Ogatas time spent at the ryo house


Kushinadas past and why she went from stopping the last eternal sunset to starting a new one

I believe the author atleast owes us Kushinadas past due to the fact that, it turns out she was the main villain of this series all along and the eternal sunset was her doing not Senzuis,Saigas or any other yami masters.
 
Does anyone have an manga recommendations for a good, character driven story with a sense of adventure? Preferably finished with a decent ending. Something like Full Metal Alchemist or Sengoku Youko.

Also, thank fucking god HSDK is over now. Won't have to sift through all the pointless discussion on a poor excuse for fan service.

LOL, that's what I got after reading 150 chapters of it. always wondered if this super in-depth discussions in here are for real.
