Does anybody have some recommendations for a somewhat realistic samurai manga like Vagabond and Lone Wolf and Cub?
Thanks for the input, i'll likely just stick to One Piece and FMA for now, but I am looking for good action animes.

Baccano, Tiger & Bunny, Shingeki No Kyojin.
Big plus for me that they're not as god awful long as other series.

Add Blade of the Immortal and you have the holy trinity of samurai manga.
We got it, you're a Hipster that doesn't like Attack on Titan. The thing is most people in the anime community do enjoy it to a great extent. myself included.
I always see Attack on titan on netflix and it has a very solid 4.5 star rating, so my question for fans (and haters) of the show is what is good/bad about it?

It's a must watch. Very entertaining.
Once again wow, you continue to be a can.

Japanese mythologie is a thing that never that never gets old for me in movies.
Saw it a year ago and loved it. Reminded me of Spirited Away in many ways. And on top of Mushishi I'd check out Kyosogiga.
Edit: New Koe no Katachi
Finally he's awake!
Have you watched mushishi?
It has to do with the same stuff and is a beautiful series.
Some people drop it cause it's slow but it's episodic so the series actually moves pretty fast.
Donflamingo is going to waste them, or at the very least escape
I have a hunch his overall character and influence will carry him to the end plot, with him being the connection between the corrupt marines and nobles
Try Natsume's Book of Friends, Hotarubi no Mori e and Mononoke series.
The last two chapters have been really excellent. I just really like the different approach to storytelling. First the jarring dream sequence in Nishimiya's POV and now a chapter with almost no dialogue.
Best part of this chapter is how it used the notebook to connect the past and present.
Anime adaptation is going to be complete this Fall. Gonna be sad when it's all over.
