Yeah, but there's no replacement for those moments with the family. Still, I'm pretty much burnt out for life from spending time with my little brother since I pretty much took care of him when my mom had to go to work after my parents split.

Yeah man no doubt I love my family time especially when you consider that I could deploy at any moment, props to you for taking care of your brother my younger brother did the same when I joined the military and my dad died he became the man of the house

Thanks. Was tough especially since it was during my late MS and early HS years and because of it I never did stuff like hang out with friends, join school clubs, or even date during those years. The second part is perfectly normal.

Well man that type of responsibility early builds character and you know what it maybe a crapshoot but I believe in Karma and you are due for good things

Maybe, but one thing it DID do is teach me the basics of cooking and how follow those instructions on packages and taught levels of patience and tolerance.

Edit: Not to sidetrack this thread anymore, but I REALLY hope the blizzard kicks in tonight since I'm still feeling like shit and my first class is at 9:00 AM followed by another at 3:45 which would mean getting up at 7:30 AM and to be at school for 8 hours(as long as it doesn't knock the power out I stand by this post).

Now on the subject of manga dowa anyone know if God of the highschool is good ? I see that is a color manwha like Noblesse but is it worth it

It's a pretty stock combat manga/manwha. The art is clean, but don't look for much in ways of story. Even when they go into exposition mode and detail how stuff "works" it still doesn't make sense. That doesn't keep it from being entertaining...

It's just not very deep.

To be honest, it's in my weekly rotation.

Not going to school today. Class cancelled from 2:00PM onwards knocking off one class and my other is a morning class from which I have no ride back home and I still feel like shit. Sucks hard since they're both classes I like a lot and I'm pretty the not cancelled one had a quiz today.

I decided to take a break right at the time skip which is around 250 and I agree with you that the whole Fairy Island Arc was weak and Hiro Mashima is notorious for Power of Friendship Deus Ex Machina devices just like in Rave Master so it was really annoying yeah I know that the friendship power up is a staple of most shonen but to me when he does it its really sappy , and even though tournaments have been done to death that's actually one of the plot devices I like and if executed right it makes a story exciting for me.

Well, if you like tournaments then the current arc will be a big step up from where you left off.

God of Highschool isn't very deep as far as the plot goes. But the artwork is solid, the fights are usually interesting, and it makes excellent use of it's color format. I find it to be an entertaining diversion, but don't expect Shakespeare.
