Anyone else watch this show? I was mildly interested with the commercials, and they have the first two seasons on Prime so I started it over the long weekend. I'm part way through season 2 and I still don't know how I feel about it?. I like Scott Speedman's character, and the planning/execution of the heists, but things just seem "off" at times. Thoughts?

I started to watch it and stopped. It was/is interesting but I know exactly what you mean by "off"

It just couldnt keep me drawn in but it wasnt awful either.

Like this show. Good ending to season 2 so cant wait to download the first episode of season 3 tomorrow.

It's alright.

The kid is in a better show called Peaky Blinders though.

One of the best shows on today... Very bingeable!

the only problem it's just highly unrealistic, like NCIS level

I'm from San Diego, there is no Animal Kingdom type clowns running shit around there. None

I like the show. It can get a little slow for some episodes, but the end of last season really picked up.

I like the show Graceland better though. I always fantasize, they cross the shows over to each other.

I finished season 2 and just watched the season 3 premiere. It looks like it's going to be a good, and it's funny as season 2 went along Pope became my favorite character. He's crazy and has his demons, but he also seems to have a sense of honor, both with how he deals with Lena(which I know is in part because of Catherine) and his sense of duty with the rest of the family that the others don't have.

I think a lot of Organized Crime has become hyper vigilant now though and the shit they do ain't as bombastic as during the mob wars of the 20th century.

I know the Triads and Yakuza are alive and kicking in Portland and Honolulu.

1%ers still roll up and down the West Coast.

But some Point Break surfer dudes running shit? Nah lol.

But i think of this show kind of like Point Break the series, and it's a fun show to watch.

Pope is one of my favourite characters ever. He so complex.
Pete's eye was choice, lol.
But him building the skate park, his love of Lena with the guilt. He never stood a hope. And fuck you, Baz leaving him to go to jail. A theory was "bayyyybeee", but I never want to see that character again.

Potential spin off with Deran finding Jay.

I've been dreaming this show being I watched all of it in bed. Gutted I finished it Wednesday.

Got a few into this recently. One is on the fight finder funnily enough.

I watched a couple of seasons. It was ok. Basically cable tv trying to cosplay HBO.

The Australian film is excellent & well worth watching

Agreed the actor Shawn Hatosy who played Pope deserved some kind of award. He was amazing in that role. The show fell off after they wrote Smurf off it, it was the beginning of the end.

That's because the Australian Film was based on real events and a real crime family.
