Kind of off topic, but I think some ESPN bigwigs really tried to give her a push a while ago with the ‘black woman making history’ angle. They kept trying to build her up as a contender. Meanwhile, she’s always been pretty average. In a sport where the female goat is a South American lesbian, and there’s plenty of black goats that are beloved by the fans, I fail to see why anyone would or should care about this stuff. Didn’t watch the fight tho lmao.

Not that I expect many of you to give a shit about what's happening in WMMA but this was the perfect example of trash talking gone wrong.

Angela (despite being a journeywoman at best) is talking big shit about Tecia, accusing her of using PEDs, basically saying she only lost to Tecia the first time because it was pre-USADA.

Then you go out and get dominated and lose even more convincingly the second time post-USADA, so she really made herself look stupid.

Why would you do that? You set yourself up for a must-win and then you lose and make yourself look bad.

Your opinion is from the outside looking in and not from the inside of Angela’s camp or her head. You have to remember that every fighter goes into a fight thinking they are going to win.
