Yang wants to give white ex-factory workers who are out of the work force $1000 a month, i don't see how that is pushing white men off the planet.

I've provided a hypothetical statement a politician could make, (not one I endorse), that has a similar form to Yang's statement, where the only differences are the crimes and the races. Your responses illustrate that there is a double standard.

Whether thievery has anything to do with race is irrelevant. Whites who murder people based on race are a fraction of a percent of murderers, as I'd imagine looters are at most a small percentage of people who steal (I don't have the numbers; if you do, please share). Murdering people out of envy ('he/she has something I want') is much more common than murdering someone for being a certain race. Neither is less immoral than the other.

If a politician proposed a national concealed carry law, citing fear of people being jumped/raped/murdered by black people, would your aversion to his statement entail that you "identify with" black robbers, rapists, or murderers?
