If all those things actually happened, why isn't he even charged with anything yet?

I mean shouldn't there be a charge after all this time? It's been 4 months.

I don't like how this case has polarized people into: 1. He's automatically guilty and everyone who disagrees is an incel or fanboy. 2. This is some kind of conspiracy by the "matrix."

It is plainly obvious people have automatically made up their minds (about guilt) purely based on liking or not liking is online persona. They try to fit the facts to their already made up minds. He's a bit misogynistic so therefore he's guilty.

It's like the Johnny Depp case - everybody already made up their minds without even knowing a fraction of the evidence.

I personally did not know much about his content, but this story is always on the news and is unavoidable. And trying to look at the (available) evidence objectively, it is really thin. At least so far.

They believed her for years (more than half a decade) before the actual evidence starting coming out. He was constantly vilified in the news and she had the audacity to speak at battered woman events when in real life, she was the abuser. He lost his career.

Only when the trial and the evidence was irrefutable did public opinion start turning.

I hate this society that always rushes to judgment - usually based on their feelings and what side of the political aisle someone is. Or what identity/race/sex/orientation they are. Uhmm why not just rely on the evidence and innocent until proven guilty.

I'm taking about before trial. When the divorce was happening.

I don't know what world you were living in, but Depp got fired from Pirates of the Caribbean, while Heard became a spokeswoman for abused women. Also became a L'Oreal spokeswoman. Literally all the mainstream media were on her side for years.

If everyone supported Depp as you say, there wouldn't have even been a trial because there world be no damages. A guilty verdict of defamation requires the injured party to prove damages.

I stopped reading after the first post. Those things happened and are in this thread. Like, videos of him saying it. I don't know how else to put it.

So your question as to how a guilty person could possible walk is pretty easy to answer. Are you sitting here telling me you have never seen or heard of a person that was guilty getting away with a crime? Because I got a good 10 or so right off the top of my head.

Did you even watch the whole video? They show a girl in some lingerie and he's ordering her around with some kind of BDSM type paraphernalia.

This is such a dishonest take. The media was far and away on Heard's side for years, never admitted they were wrong. It was mostly the public that supported Depp, especially once the evidence came out. Depp lost roles with Disney and Warner Bros in 2 major franchises when they very publicly fired him and his career has never recovered. While his ex-wife kept her job with WB. Everybody wasn't on his side, when the evidence started coming out more people switched sides.

Of course I've seen people getting away with a crime. But they didn't even have enough evidence to charge him with anything.

Saying shit on a YouTube video without corroborating evidence means nothing. He's already been known to say outlandish shit and playing a character.

He still is on house arrest so we'll see what comes of it.

You really want to convict people for something as serious as rape and sex trafficking without hard evidence?

I have never said rape. There is his confession plus the accusations from victims that yes do in fact provide evidence that he is guilty of sex trafficking. If he is bragging about doing it, and someone claims that he did it to them, wtf do you want anyone to think? If he didn't do it, then he just played himself. Sucks to suck.
