He got arrested because of a money laundering charge in Romania. It's one of those grey area charges. He has been there for a couple of years already and operating without issue.

It isn't a human trafficking charge as first reported. He already got arrested earlier for that and that case went away because lack of evidence. It's also funny how human trafficking case went away but this money laundering charge is somewhat sticking and he isn't let go.

first reported? its still being reported, and a few hours ago authorities have just stated that after todays court hearing, andrew tate and his brother will be detained for a month on claims of human trafficking and rape.

i dont see anything regarding money laundering. maybe thats tied in there with the human trafficking thing though i would imagine. but it doesnt seem like they are after him because he didn't file proper paperwork or pay off some hush money bribes or whatever. 6 women have reportedly came forward against him recently and thats why the authorities came after him. at least to my understanding anyways.

The human trafficking charge is sort of bullshit. It's fucking sleezy as hell but the whole promising women marriage and forcing them to work for onlyfans sounds like bullshit. He isn't a good person but they let him operate for so long without any real issues. He is only getting cracked down for offending for the wrong people.

ive seen some documentary stuff about this kind of shit a long time ago, and its prevalent in many countries where its common for a rapist to marry their victim to get off the hook for rape charges, but apparently the marry-your-rapist law doesnt apply in romania. it still does in many other countries though, mostly just asian countries.

i have no idea what this dudes really tied up in though. but there definately seems to be some bride and groom stuff going on here, but lacking in the bride department if you catch my drift
