Watching Doctor Who has made me really changed my stance on bowties. I hated them at first but now they are pretty damn steeze.

Dude is it that hard for you to accept that a lot of people find gauged ears disgusting? You keep resorting to this "anyone who doesn't like them must be a middle aged geezer" argument, I'm 21 and I think that gauged ears look stupid and are gross, I don't care what other people do with their own body though so I'm not going to bitch about it but you have to accept that a lot of people (regardless of their age) don't think stretching out your ears is "cool"

I just saw the weigh in photos from last night
I noticed Andre Fili has gauged ears, the holes are more than big enough to fit a thumb in, let alone any other finger.

1) Are there rules in MMA against attack an opponents ears? Anything stopping an opponent from putting a finger in there are pulling in a fishhook motion?

2) Would the ref/doctor stop the fight if his opponent threw a strike, and a finger accidentally penetrated the hole and tore it open? Or by accident when applying a thai plum, or how about while grappling on the ground?


Seems like a pretty big liability for a fighter. As far as I know, he is the only fighter with gauged ears.

1) They are not called gauged ears. They are not called gauges. They never have been, they never will be. The term is stretched ears. The big solid disk jewelry is called a plug. The big ring one with empty space in the middle is a tunnel. The long skinny ones are tapers. It's very simple. Gauge refers to the size of the jewelry.

2) This is like the 4th thread I have seen on this. I made one at least 2 weeks ago. There's a search button, man.

That's a nice blue print from pulling any human you want really. Like I said whatever he's into, hes beating them off with a stick. No doubt about it. Women would be going nuts over that guy if they see him in public.

He looks cool to me and I'm sure does just fine with the ladies. But you know Sherdog gonna Sherdog. And as an aside to people saying it looks fucked up when you take them out, mine were 7/8 before I stopped wearing them and they look fine now. There's no huge gaping hole or anything.

Good lord, that cloth is horrible. Don't care for the ears and piercing, actually, I think it's cool, and used to have, but can't stand guys who dress like that.
