she really struggled with Maias strength. Maia found some counters on her exits after her combos ended too. Valentina wont be able to do much in the clinch with Andrade who is prolly even stronger than Maia. Thats where Valentina gets all her TDs. She doesnt have chain wrestling, doubles, knee taps etc.

Valentina will most likely outpoint her but Andrade could easily make her uncomfortable and overwhelm her with pure power/athleticism. Andrade prolly throws the best hooks among females too. And we havent seen Valentinas body tested

If Weili Zhang could counter strike Andrade, Valentina will have a FIELD day in the center. I think you're looking to deeply into this performance, Shevchenko made the fight difficult for herself by choosing to grapple, she WON'T do that to Andrade.

Obviously talking about her counterpunching and no she doesnt have much power in them. She doesnt even have more power in her punches than Rose who went through hell to squeak out a decision last fight

Maia is a better pure grappler than Jessica but she's not near her in terms of strength, athleticism and wrestling. Andrade has decent takedowns and combine with the 2 things ive stated she has hold down a few girls and who knows if she might be able to hold Valentina down unlike Maia.

But i think Valentina would just probably piece her up for 5 rounds.

Just by using MMAth we can see that's NOT true, she could barely outmuscle or takedown Joanna, and Valentina MANHANDLED her.

Valentina made this fight an uphill battle by initiating most of the grappling, she's not going to do the same thing against a Brawler who swings recklessly with her Chin in the air.

Valentina is def not mediocre. Far from it. Shes one of the 8-10 good fighters in WMMA. Most of the division is terrible but shes dominated and 9-1 in rounds against Joanna and Holly

Joanna fought Andrade almost 4 years ago. Neither fighter is the same as back then.

Who said Andrade is gonna look for TDs? Shes just gonna bully her in clinch/control positions and Valentina wont be able to get her TDs since they all come from the clinch. Shes gonna have a tough time countering her pressure for 5 rounds considering the large power difference

I think that Andrade's best chance of winning this one is surprisingly in the clinch. She can land some nasty punches to the abdomen/face there.

Other than that? Valentina just seems too skilled on the standup, and arguably too fast. It'd be hard to counter her coming in.
