Official Trailer for ANDOR Season 2; Premieres April 22 on Disney+
Yeah, trailer didn't gel with me, too upbeat for such a serious show. Felt like a Sweeps sizzle reel.Music in the trailer was an odd choice for Star Wars but it worked for me. Trailer was great. Excited for season 2 as Andor was the best Star Wars they made since the original trilogy.
Trailer to me looks like its more something execs came up with to try and draw in a wider audience beyond the SW nerds like us who were already going to watch, reminds me of those trailers you get for films after release with a load of critical and audience reactions in them.Hyped but cautiously so. The trailer was off to me, the music was incredibly ill fitting, both in tone and because it's Star Wars. Hopefully it's as thoughtful and well crafted as the first season.
I don't trust happy music in trailers. They're all gonna die.Hyped but cautiously so. The trailer was off to me, the music was incredibly ill fitting, both in tone and because it's Star Wars. Hopefully it's as thoughtful and well crafted as the first season.
I do feel like this should be the blueprint for Starwars content set around that timeline either just before or during the events of the originals, have the Mando setting a few years post ROTJ as a bit more larger than life and this era as more serious thriller.Just rewatched eps S1 1-5 and it's every bit as good as I remembered. The writing is just a cut above anything since Rogue 1. I'll finish the rest of S1 and start pacing the floor for S2.
