" - Anderson was having a hard time finding the distance, because when he kicked, at the beggining of round one, he felt his leg, his shin, he thinks he snapped (says, pointing to the head, as if the pain was psychological). So that limited him, and it was troubling him boxing and kicking. Anderson thought he snapped his shin, the left leg. That's why he was lost in distance, but was contundent yet. Look at Bisping's face.

[...]

- Lacked ofensiveness, but as I said, he didn't find the distance, much because the time inactive, more than a year without fighting. He was contundent and was moving that way to find the distance, though. Anderson didn't kept his head stopped, he kept moving and saying: "Master, i'm not finding the distance". When the referee called him back (after the confusion in round three), I was worried with the outcome and said: "Anderson, let's head to the knockout". But I couldn't imagine it would happen. I don't agree with the judges. It was completely avert to reality. The fight was over there. Anderson won by KO. Bisping was KO'ed."

Hmmmm he sure was kicking like hell with both legs the entire fight this sounds like an excuse if true. I thought Bisping won but I would accept it if they had given it to Silva and at 40 years old I thought he went 5 rounds after a long lay off like a boss, I have no idea where all this criticism is coming from other than from casual clingers who have no idea of what they are saying or watching.

I would normally show sympathy and take this claim seriously, but I refuse to.

The man was a cheap bastard in this fight. His antics in Round 3, his taunting making a return and him calling the judging corrupt, just makes me think this is just another excuse to be honest.

Just seems like excuse after moan, after excuse, after moan.

Shut up Andy, you lost.

Really? How many kicks did Silva throw? I don't know how many kicks Silva usually throws but to me it felt like he threw almost no kicks. I remember two leg kicks in one round and then the front kick that almost knocked Bisping out. I think it's clear that Silva is afraid of kicking with full force which is understandable. He probably will never overcome the fear of injuring himself.

Interesting. Looks like Silva still has the leg break in the back of his mind. I could understand that.

What was cheap about his antics in the third? Bisping knows that you can't call a timeout in the middle of the fight to ask for your mouthpiece. The ref stops the fight at a good time and gives it back.

this makes total sense. I was yelling at the tv like a little girl for Silva to throw kicks in the early rounds and is one of the reasons why anderson got dropped early. bisping didnt fear kicks at all early on.

No, no, no!

I don't mean the knee, I thought the knee was a little naughty but I can't blame him for that.

I'm talking about knowing full well that the fight isn't over but ignoring everyone to attempt to somehow influence the stoppage, kind of like BJ vs Sherk. Only difference is BJ whacked this guy to bits with follow-up strikes and Silva just walked off. Bisping was ROCKED! but not out, there is a difference.

He pretends he cannot understand English and that erks me, he's on his knees in the middle of the Octagon celebrating. He's on the cage talking to the crowd. He's a joke for that.

I was SCREAMING for Silva to kick. He was kicking alright, and kicking well, it didn't seem like anything was out of place, but he wasn't kicking as much as he should be definitely. he also just didn't put any volume in his striking overrall. I can understand if he tried to play it safe after feeling something weird in his foot after all the trouble he had on his leg, and also his age. A serious injury puts his career on fire at this point. So yeah, maybe it did happened and would explain some stuff, like not going for the kill in the 4th round.

I know it doesn't excuse it but he only hurt his chances doing that. It gave Bisping time to semi-recover and survive, and also took Silva completely out of the fight. his 4th round was Zingano's levels of abysmal.

I was thinking after the fight that Silva barely landed any kicks. And what happened with the limping before the fight?

Silva just wanted to win then because he had nothing left in the tank. He was broken mentally and depleted physically. I am sure he hasn't regained his confidence, and he's still afraid to break his leg again. That kind of injury is something that stays with you for the rest of your fighting career.

His legs looked weird af. Like they were just moving sticks.

I can believe that. His leg breaking again has to be on the back of his mind. To me this sounds like he needs to retire. If he did hurt his leg it is only a matter of time before it breaks again. Not worth it at 40 years old. Get a Diaz rematch ... retired on a win. Have a showdown with G.S.P. or one more epic battle with the man himself ... Chael Sonnen.

It's hard to judge distance when Bisping didn't really give him time to breathe and kept closing it.
