Unfortunately that's also my thought and I've always been a Silva fan. The first two fights vs Weidman were not fun to watch and I fear this could be the case in this third one also because of age.

If this boxing fight had happened 10 years ago or more this was an easy wins for Silva.

Even if it happened just a few years ago Silva would have the upperhand. Thing is when you're talking late 40s - early 50s every year you age pretty rapidly, and 50 is just a ridiculous age to be fighting even if you have great genes. Meanwhile Weidman seemed to have regained some of the loss of PED strength post USADA, still looking like garbage and getting a "win" through eyepokes but he's still young in comparison. Who knows what will happen.

First fight was no fluke, Chris's backhand fucked Anderson's head movement timing and resulted in him getting KTFO
If the fluke was Andy clowning, he clowned every fight, it just caught up with him.

You may have not been aware of the consequences of your pink future, but they still loom.

Their matchups are a great measuring stick for who knows what they are watching and who is a dumb fuck that repeats nonsense

There were zero flukes.

Fight one- Chris and team serra longo correctly assessed that Anderson relies on fighters to over commit particularly when he clowns to bait them in. Chris used his long reach to pick his shots intelligently, maintaining range and dictating the terms of their exchanges.

Rather than Andersons opponent being drawn into a mistake, Anderson himself made the mistake while being an asshole with his hands down in striking range, and Chris threw off his "left right" head movement patterns with that backhand bitch/pimp slap attempt leading Anderson chin first into a power hook which Anderson moved INTO.

FIGHT 2- Chris and team correctly assessed that the most success Anderson had in 1st fight was with low kicks, so they worked on checks including a particularly brutal knee check that meets the shin with hard bone, allowing Anderson again to actively sign his own death certificate.

And Chris nearly stopped him in R1 (I think it was the rematch) with a strike to the head behind the ear in the clinch.

They fought twice for 2 complete rounds and 2 fight ending rounds and Anderson won no rounds of either fight

Weidman has already won the trilogy. But hopefully Anderson can win this boxing match and then they can fight one more time in pillow fighting.

I voted Anderson but the real result would be draw just like Shale - Silva part 3 was

Definitely winnable for Silva but I don't wanna see Weidman get KO'ed this late in his career.
