He has been training for a few weeks (there are videos) plus he is Anderson and always has a chance of catching whoever he faces.

DC is a bad style matchup for him and would be the favorite against any version of Anderson but when you strike with the speed and accuracy of Silva then you always have a shot

People never learn. Odds are that Silva loses but I would not be at all surprised if he catches DC. He is an elite fighter that still has fight stopping striking. It isn't like DC is facing someone like Sonnen (who has to rely on a decision and doesn't have the power to to stop a fight unless lighting struck)
