Lets look at the facts

Speed: clear advantage for silva.
plenty of smaller fighters have beaten bigger guys due to speed advantage. look how reem is having more success after moving to hw, how rumble had more success after moving to lhw. a weight class down isnt always a disadvantage. Also, remember how silva had more troubkle with quicker MW's than he did with slower LHW's like griffin. imo there is no doubt mw is a lot stronger than lhw or hw,

mutual opposition: dan henderson. Anderson fought a better version and finished him a ROUND EARLIER.

to say anderson has no chance. he is undoubtedly the best striker cormier has faced yet. cormierr's slowness compared to silva will be noteworthy. if Anderson picks him apart to the legs and the body and eventuall finishes him off don't be surprised because you heard it here first.

Anderson can't wrestle. Cormier makes a living out of slamming fools.

And Anderson's not that fast anymore. Bisping caught him clean and Bisping isn't fast at all.

I like Anderson, I truly believe he is the GOAT, however I dont agree with your assessment. I think Comier takes him down within 10 seconds of the fight starting and its all downhill from there

I think the only option Andy has at winning is if Comier is still SO EMOTIONALLY FU..ED UP from everything that happened that he is not even 50% of the fighter he is, and Anderson can capitalize on that. Skill by skill at this moment in their lives is not even a fair fight, but I will be pulling for Andy because hey thats what irrational fans do!

This, not only better wrestling, but the best wrestler Silva has ever faced. Silva has had trouble with them and DC has a knack for tossing people on their head. I think DC puts on a wrestling clinic and finishes silva in round 3.

I'm putting money on Anderson simply because if anyone can pull this off it's him.
He "shouldn't" win, but he has the tools to be very dangerous against a slower and much less skilled striker.
Also, don't underestimate the mental fatigue and pressure DC has been under.

I've been saying this all over this forum, Anderson wins this in Cinderella fashion and the last 3 years of disappointments is ERASED.
