Main issue about EU immigration was that they been coming to this country purely to claim benefits and bring back their families so they could scrounge even more and leave British unemployed worse of. From my own experience I heard many many times be it work or the streets where people saying all over the country, 'scrounging migrants claiming housing and benefits, no wonder we got so many homeless'
Lets do some fact check, shall we?

In short. Under EU regulations any EU citizens that come to this or any other country and cant find a work, can claim job-seeker allowance for up to 3 months, PROVIDED, that he actively looking for employment and have genuine chance of finding it.
Those who are in the country for over 5 years, can claim it for up to 6 months. If they cant find a job, they have to return to where they came from or can be legally deported.
British public claims thousands on benefits and housing, yet I am to hear about single deportation.
