I can't trace my family back very far. As far as I know my father's family is from Ireland and my mother's is from Italy. My last name is English, though.

My sister just casually mentioned she had to get genetic testing done when she was trying to have her kid, and it came back like 50% Irish, 40% Italian, and 10% Russian or Ukrainian (she couldn't remember which). I have no idea how that got in there.
