Anatoly Malykhin Serious Problem For UFC Fighters

Both of those guys had long careers before joining the UFC. The UFC has a habit of waiting till guys are either passed their primes or at the very end of them before finally signing them. Happened with Eddie Alvarez, Gomi, and Michael Chandler too.
Some primes magically end when they join the UFC, like when guys from Pride came over. Maybe some did and other's just weren't as good as expected. I am not trying to take a hard stance of the UFC always being better, just that it's mixed results when guys come in.

Some killers look like chumps and then some average fighters look like killers when they crossover to the UFC. Every case is individual, but to me atleast it's hard to say any organization today would dominate UFC for sure.

Gilbert Milendez or Hector Lombard is another. There's a few with spotty records. I did say sometimes, there are other times they look amazing when they join.

okay, i get you. I took you literally when you said never win a fight. All good.

I don't think it's magical at all for fighters with around 30 fights to start declining. Especially when you factor in fighting with different rules in a different environment, different scoring and different length rounds. It is normal to decline at 30ish fights especially dealing with all the stuff i just mentioned. Besides, if you were to compare the Pride guys to the UFC guys of their own era they did better and stayed at a high level longer.

This idea that Pride guys didn't do well doesn't make sense when you think about it and when you compare Pride guys to UFC guys of the same era.

UFC is the best right now as a whole but Pride was better when both were around and Strikeforce had a better HW division in the early 2010s.

He's short for a hw
Only good hw in one
I'd say he's top 10 in the UFC, could be top 5.

I think in the current times, USADA is just the phoney acronym agency used to project an image of fairness. Look at the fighters physiques as of late. They're all back on it, the tests are easy to beat, and malykhin could definitely pass that test. easily. the question is, does he ever reach a point to where he can sign with the UFC? champions always come from other orgs, he's no different.

I like him, but his opponent the other week in ONE was beyond useless and he was the somehow the champ lol.

Dude's whole gameplan seemed to be to stand there, throw nothing, don't wrestle, and just keep getting hit until he got finished.

Id rather more fighters leave the ufc to fight him.

Hopefully he doesn’t have too much mileage on him at his age, he can look a little stiff sometimes but that’s most heavyweights anyways.

Jason Reinhardt. Biggest cancrusher in MMA history.

i don't remember anyone praising him as one of the greatest fighters around, but thank you for pointing him out.

Can agree with that, was basically my point.

"Welcome stud, here is your 15/15k, we can renegotiate in 10 fights, welcome to the big leagues"

Can he beat Kirill Kornilov would be an interesting question for me

Dude looks to be in a permanent roidrage...

Im glad he rekt bhullar though.

From fresh interview, Malykhin said that there is no money for which he will sign with UFC, because when noone was interested in him, Chatri gave him work and money so until he needed in ONE and if ONE doesn't cut him he plans to retire there.
