Anatoly Malykhin Serious Problem For UFC Fighters

Please. Dude is 35 and only 6 ft tall. I mean the hw division is weak as fuck, but still don't think he ever gets the belt. Well unless the ufc gives him favorable match ups to the belt, then maybe.

I wish he would come over to see what he is really capable off!

My prediction is that he could enter the top5 but would get whooped there.... Of course he can knock out Curtis for example, but not with those wild heymakers ....

5'11 wrestler brawler, 35(ok for HW), defense questionable.
He'd be top5, not many years left though.

The guy is an absolute animal and was kicked off the Russian National Wrestling Team for juicing

wtf.gif

Isn't that kind of like getting kicked out of the League of Shadows for being TOO extreme and badass?

The guy is an absolute animal and was kicked off the Russian National Wrestling Team for juicing. Would easily be a top 3 HW in the UFC today.

he got kicked off a national team in a country that was banned from the Olympics for juicing... how much of a juicer do you need to be for that?

Let's have reasonable expectations here. ONE's heavyweight division is paper thin. Bhullar won the title off a guy on a 2-fight losing streak and then Malykhin beat Bhullar, yes, but it's not like he got him out of there quickly and I didn't see anything there that makes me think he could beat any of the UFC's top 5.

Anatoly is the current HW and LHW ONE Champion. He is 13-0 with all finishes.
Not only is the guy an incredible wrestler but he has one punch KO power in both hands.
I hope Dana signs him.

He was pretty open that he is thankful for Chatri who supported him in tough times and not interested in UFC. I think he also encouraged Petr Yan to leave for One, like, leave this disrespectful Americans and sign with normal promotion like One.

35y, 6ft, clearly juiced to the gills.

I don't see him performing well under USADA.

Sometimes guys look like killers in other orgs then never win a fight in the UFC.

Who came to the UFC and never won a fight? Antonio McKee is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but he only had one UFC fight.

Gilbert Milendez or Hector Lombard is another. There's a few with spotty records. I did say sometimes, there are other times they look amazing when they join.

Both of those guys had long careers before joining the UFC. The UFC has a habit of waiting till guys are either passed their primes or at the very end of them before finally signing them. Happened with Eddie Alvarez, Gomi, Kid Yamamoto and Michael Chandler too.
