Anaconda

Yeah, but MMA muscle is so functional, I bet it works for UFC, too. I should know, because I train UFC.

HA! I like it... but really, it COULD get even cheaper.

- didn't we JUST go over the pitfalls of hydrolyzed caseinate? TP does a good sell on it, but is it worth over 6 times the cost of WPC, or three times the cost of WPI?
- since realistically you only need about 5-10g of creatine per day, you could get by with 5% in the mix
- 20% 4:1:1 luecine is high again, and maybe unnecessary altogether. I was under the impression that leucine supplementation topped out at 5g, which means you're PROBABLY getting enough through the protein itself... however since you're going to be taking about 7-10 scoops of this supplement to get the needed 128g protein (and 29g of amino acids), that means you need about 5 times as much net protein as BCAA's...
- I'm pretty unfamiliar with Citrulline Malate, so I'll leave the 1:1 protein to CM ratio alone.
- and you forgot that shitload of carbs!!! I figure with the remaining percenages, a 1:2 split between WMS and Maltodextrin oughta do the trick.

So here's you mix including carbs

35% Whey Protein Isolate Ultra-Filtration
20 % Maltodextrin
10% Amylocel (Waxy Maize Starch)
5% Leucine 4:1:1
5% Creatine Monohydrate Powder
30% Citrulline Malate by the Pound
+ electrolytes
$16.92 per pound, and to match their protein and AA content... it's gonna take just under a pound of this per serving. LMAO. so you figure three times a day, 6 days a week, that's 304.56 a week, times three week supply, just round it off to 913.68 dollars, before the 5% bulk discount. AND it doesn't include the shaker bottle or beta alanine.

Without the carbs I'd break it down like this
45% Whey Protein Isolate Ultra-Filtration
10% Leucine 4:1:1
5% Creatine Monohydrate Powder
40% Citrulline Malate
that breaks down to $22.04 per pound, and one 167g net protein serving is 11scoops. that means 881.6 dollars for 3x a day, 6 days a week...

ok if you're still reading you're probably noticing something horribly wrong with these numbers so far. I've done the best I can to mimic the product based on the spreadsheet I posted. 167g protein and AA's, 158g carbs, pre workout... But THEIR numbers don't add up. 5 scoops of the anaconda protocol only amounts to 50g protein... plus whatever's in the bars. they must mean 167g of protein and 158g carbs per day after all is said and done... if that's true you can divide my figures above by three. So about 300 dollars for a 3 week supply with carbs, and 295 without. Suddenly 345 doesn't seem THAT far off now does it?

of course... this is assuming you take three doses a day, 6 days a week. again... there's a numbers problem here, since their 345 dollar package isn't a three week supply. you'll be out of anaconda after only 17 workouts, and out of mag-10 in 30 workouts. I didn't bother to look up the rest of the products, but it looks like after the first week you'll need more supplies... really, since you're going to need anaconda protocol orders (345 each), 2 extra bottles of anaconda (68 dollars each), 1 of mag-10(60 bucks) and 7 extra boxes of the bars to get you through three weeks... you're looking at a price tag of 1016 per month...

ORRRRR... I'm curious, how many people spend more money on supplements than real food?

There's no point in trying to mimic Anaconda guys. It's nothing more than marketing hype. The product is inferior to other methods/products and the entire protocol is beyond (far beyond) ridiculous.

why? when you think about it, it's not that much different than the supplement recommendations around here: protein, carbs, beta alanine, creatine and leucine... except for the ridiculous price and marketing it's almost like d/s designed the stuff.

Because Casein Hydrolysate has been shown to be inferior to intact proteins for muscle growth.

Citrulline Malate has zero evidence that it does anything for muscle growth and its evidence that it does anything for endurance is debatable at best.

Leucine still hasn't been shown to be beneficial for muscle growth for trainees that are already on a high protein diet and getting more than ample amounts of leucine (and yes, I know people can throw up an ass ton of leucine studies but not of them are in the context of what I mentioned. Most of the leucine stuff is just applied theory and I've given my opinion in more detail in other threads.).

BA has never been shown to be beneficial for muscle growth.

So just get your protein/carbs/creatine or whatever from whole proteins and/or whole foods.

It's actually not a bad tasting supp. I expected it to taste horrid but they did a good job masking the flavor. I spend over 200$ a month on supps anyhow, now I stretch 2 Anaconda packages over 3 months and it equals out to nearly the same.

lol have you been reading the tmuscle forums? people are LOSING weight in the "ultimate weight gain" plan. All that protein is too satiating

How and why are you spending $200 a month on supps?

Hah! Credit to David Miklas for making that video series. That guy's got an awesome sense of humor.

As for Anaconda, what a fucking scam.

LOL about Anaconda having a choke hold on your wallet!

It's your money and body, so obviously you can do what you like. But I think a lot of people are curious about how you can spend $200 a month on supplements. I barely spend that much on food. Do you make huge custom mixes at TP?

How are those video's made? Is it from your posts on other forums?
