International American Imperialism

My entire timeline on X is taken up by MAGA celebrating a completely red North America that comprises of Mexico, Canada, and Greenland. They’re heavily cheering this. WTF happened to being pro peace? I’m sorry but this really is a fucking cult. Is there even any argument against it anymore? They stand for nothing other than what orange man says

I didnt take it seriously at first. He trolled Trudeau into quitting. Nothing more.

But he hasnt stopped and sent Jr. to Greenland. Also he bought properties all over the world pre Presidencey. Maybe he will start acquiring countries now.

Will see what happens.
Greenland if it could be sold and has plenty of natural resources wouldn't be bad as the population is so low. It's mainly just land with 57k residents. So if serious that one would be the best. If the price is good and the resources are there then it's not bad. We bought Alaska from Russia. If Denmark is willing to sell then it would likely be cheap given few peeps and low GDP. So I would lean towards serious on Greenland.

It is not because of Obama. The contract would be signed with or without him. There was a contract for 30 billion before him. And 30 billion in 2008-2018 are probably even more that 38 billion in 2018-2028.
Oh and now all the money he "gave" and more will be spent on getting rid of Iran's nuclear weapons, which are nearing completion thanks to Obama.
We are going around in circles. I am commenting on how Israel did benefit under Obama's administration. Presidents can choose to increase or deny aid. Obama continued to pledge money to Israel. You are making this point how it would have been signed with or without him. It just shows how strong the Israeli lobby is in America.

I didn't say any of this extra Jews run the world stuff. Just the fact that Israel received money under Obama's administration.

Why would Trump want to take over Canada? The last thing we need is millions of extra progressive liberals voting in American elections.
I dont think that Canada nor Mexico are serious propositions. Cost of purchase and burden of a country like Mexico makes those not feasible nor attractive. Greenland isn't bad though. Valuation is low and few residents. I think that one could be serious thinking about it.

Greenland is not for sale.

Mexico isn't for sale. You can't purchase Mexico at any price. There is only one way to acquire Mexico and it involves bombs. Lots of bombs.

It'd actually be hilarious if Canada turned the U.S. into a forever liberal dominant country.

I do think the Canada stuff is done sort of weird negotiation tactic by Trump where he starts with an outrageous proposal and then settles with a compromise that lands somewhere that meets his actual goals.

It appears to me that his real issue with Canada is trade, immigration, security. He'll probably lay off once a deal is made.

I'm not saying it is. That depends on Denmark. Just saying it could be a serious proposition. Don't think anything comes of it. But it's value is reasonable, population so low.... then throw in a deal for any mining who knows.

I think the dems have been tossing around the idea of making PR and DC states, and the gop opposes it for this reason.

OTOH, if the vote includes Canada, think of all the red, unpopulated land they could use on their election map meme.

Once again NO.
They cant sell it.
Why cant people get this into their heads?

"It’s unclear. When he brought up the idea in 2019, adjunct Professor Rasmus Leander Nielsen of Greenland University told local media that Denmark can’t sell Greenland because its home-rule law of 2009 “clearly states that Greenlanders are their own people.” Trump’s best hope would be for the territory to gain independence and then choose to arrange a sale to the US."

For US to buy it Greenland has to go independent and then sell them self to US.
A country that has worked towards independence since the 1970ties should suddenly go independent just to sell them self to another country?

true.
A Nato member threatening another member was not on my bingo card for this year.
I think just follow where the oil reserves are and you can sort of plot out the master plan. The Gulf of America has oil there. It's funny that this is playing out like a Fallout game.
