I had a former co worker who loved in Arizona and opened a pizza parlor. He couldn't believe that everyone asked for ranch dressing.

Hate to break the news to you but in the tri state area no one is asking for ranch dressing on their pizza.

Me too. The South is well-known for their ranch-pizza love. The bigger the population, the more ranch they want.

I think it got big when all the pizza places started having wings too. You either get that ranch or blue cheese for the wings, and well, you we have to at least try to dip the pizza in there too.

I love all cheeses. I prefer American on Italian subs instead of provolone and American on turkey sandwiches instead on Swiss. Dipping a grilled cheese into tomato or marinara sauce is great.

I never had a plain Pizza with dough, sauce, and American cheese but I'm sure I'll like it.
 
American cheese is basically Cheez Whiz in slice form.

I eat everything, and would not decline a slice, but I sure as hell wouldn't go out of my way for that peasant pizza.

Who said anything about good pizza? In talking about going to places such as BJ's or places like that. And ranch and hot sauce on pizza is delish.

I'm argentine, we have our own pizza culture and I wouldn't put ranch or hot sauce on that pizza.

I have my doubts that American cheese is even a legitimate dairy product.

I'm not a pizza snob. I've had plenty good pizza, especially living here in LA. But if I am at a friend's house and he orders pizza from a chain, I have no qualms about it.

99.9% of the pizza I eat is in NY/NJ. Both states are known to have excellent Pizza. I still cover my pizza in hot sauce and dunk the pizza crust in blue cheese dip. You were prob that kid who ate nothing but chicken nuggets and French fries. I was a kid who grew up on foods like blood sausage and tripe. I've eaten everything put in front of me and it boggles my mind when I hear people say "ewwwww" when trying something new. Toughen up and eat it. If it's on the market then it's good. You just need to toughen up
