Being from the UK I have absolutely no idea who the guy is, I know he had a couple of good ko's on one of the shitty shows I don't watch, but in terms of previous achievements he's a nobody outside the US.

im in the u.s. and i have no idea who he is either aside from all the threads about him because i dont watch lame sports like football.

Well, whether you like it or not, it's not some head-scratching mystery. You go with what draws, because you're trying to make as much money as possible. At the end of the day, that's all a promoter gives a shit about. It's all a big hustle.
