Amanda Nunes' legacy is looking better than ever

You insulted me on the basis of a dumb argument. According to your definitely fighters especiallt champions from beginning to the end, never learn and become better to reach the peak. Everyone in a profession evolves and with more training and better coaching, experience, training and mentoring, evolves and gets to his or her peak. Anyone who plays the fights from 10 years apart, see same fighter fighting completely differently due to evolution (whether in a good way or bad way). I am professional senior Engineer of 20+ years and mentor juniors and no one knows this better than me. She moved from Brazil just shortly before that fight and had not even joined ATT at the time.

Amanda when she was young and inexperienced, fought completely differently than she did when she was 33 - 34 years of age when she retired. Even in that fight, she dominated Zingano until she simply gassed herself out and had nothing left. Zingano herself on JRE said, she has been dealing with CTE since the Nunes fight. That is a cardio issue she fixed after extensive cardio training over the years. Nunes is carrier is defined by how she cleaned out everyone she fought. Not just a single data point. By the same token, Amanda beat every single person who beat Cat Zingano. If you are going to use MMA math and go A = B = C then Amanda destroyed everyone who beat Zingano. She lost to Megan Anderson, for crying out loud who was beaten by Nunes like a deer caught in headlights. If she had truly been great, she would have won some big fights after the Nunes fight, but she fizzled out and no one cares about her. That is just the truth as much as you will get riled up.
im not riled up, that's the thing lol i stated my opinion and YOU got riled up. idk why you feel the need to defend amanda nunes for any reason. she's the best ever and losing to zingano when she did doesn't change that. it just goes to show how great zingano was at one point in time. that 3-fight streak aged like a fine wine. respectfully, i dont care about this conversation enough to read all that and/or respond to your points. you care way too much about this.

Nunes struggles to make 135. Shevchenko doesn't even cut weight to make 135. To me, that says Nunes is a natural 145 and Shevchenko is a natural 125. If you want actual numbers, Nunes was 156 in the cage against Cyborg, while Shevchenko was 133 in the cage for the second Nunes fight (or more accurately, she weighed in at 133.5 for that fight after not cutting weight). Here's a post I made some time ago with my sources: https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...-who-really-won.4292548/page-2#post-171182517

You being a salty Val Stan explains a lot. You're literally just making shit up. Nunes has never missed weight and when she did fight at 145 she was noticeably pudgy. You dont have a good argument when you have to immediately go into fantasy. And then you have a list of excuses for all her wins. You're pathetic.

You don't like the facts I provide, so you claim I'm making things up. That's one way to approach the debate, I suppose - not a particularly compelling way, of course, but you do you.

I believe she said afterward, "I wouldn't have done that if I had known she was going to go for the armbar."

Um, Cat? What did you think she was going to do?
Lmao right? At that point Ronda had 10 pro fights. She won 8 of them by armbar. Cat was either making excuses or she had the worst prep imaginable for her title fight.

Here are some facts for you:
Nunes was 23-5 when she retired
She had 18 fights at 135
She missed weight 0 times

If you consider her a “natural featherweight” because she “struggled to make 135” that’s an opinion, not a fact. The fact is she fought over half her career at that weight and never missed.

WMMA has always been trash with pitter patter pillow fistlets apart from Amanda, Cyborg, Shev and Ronda. It's a bit of a joke it's put on PPV outside of genuinely talented women (who don't fight MMA let's be honest).
