Am I still allowed to laugh at Louis CK's jokes?

Is it ok to revisit and enjoy Louis CK's material? Stand up, TV shows etc

Does laughing at someone's joke implies that you validate any of the person's past behaviour? That logic is weird af.
I agree, but i think the implied reasoning (emoting) in said weird logic is that the crimes and sins of the persona non grata should be of such hideous demonic magnitude that one cannot associate anything else with them. Like Hitler, Ted Bundy, Golden State Killer etc they are expected to just invoke immediate loathing, and nothing else. Don't matter if they were good to dogs, could play the piano or whatever.

It's a bit of a stretch to put Louis CK in that league of 'devils' though...

Ah. Must have forgotten that part, about blocking the doorway. That is creepy. Maybe a heat of the moment thing, anger at being tricked, stalling for time because he knew the situation was not going like he intended... still creepy though, no two ways about that. As I understand it, both ladies are still alive and well...?

Yes, they are alive. But I’m pretty sure that Harvey Weinstein’s victims are alive as well. And Bill Cosby’s.

While I can understand the line of logic behind that. But if a joke is funny, you just laugh, it's an emotional response. One does not choose to laugh at something or not if the laughter is genuine. This is why I suspect why explaining a joke usually kills it.

What he did wasn't even wrong. All the women involved were consenting adults.

He is kind of a pussy though for going into hiding. He has talked about worse shit than that before.

If he had just gone on Jim and Sam a week after it would have blown over. Going into hiding made it look worse.

They're is nothing funny about sexual harassment.

But the way Louis CK did it was the funniest way possible.

Little Jimmy through him under the bus.

He defended Ant when he beat up his 18 year old girlfriend but didn't even try and defend CK

I would defend Jim but after taking Friday and Monday off last week they are now taking the whole fucking week off so Jimmy has lost my support for now.

Oh, good. Still can't bring myself to think about the two giggly cockteasers as 'Louis's victims' though, as Louis situation is country miles from Cosby and Weinstein premeditated and recurrent patterns of outright abuse.

His situation is mikes away from theirs. But still not acceptable nonetheless, regardless of whether or not the women are still alive.

This poll was one sided.

I still watch Benoit matches, and he murdered his family. So I'd say yes.

Why start now?

I have never found him funny. I think he’s very overrated. Obviously comedy is subjective but he’s about as funny as Amy Schumer to me.

Cockteasers?

He's the one who pulled out his dick in non sexual situations with what were essentially his colleagues.

I mean did he really do anything that bad? He didn't rape anyone or hurt anyone did he? He yanked it a bit while girls watched which I'm sure made them uncomfortable but i think they'll live. I open up my blinds in the morning and yank it everyday but you dont hear my neighbors crying about it.
