Am I crazy to think that Bisping is going to pick up a convincing win this weekend?

I'm far from a Bisping fan although I find myself rooting for him against Anderson Silva. I feel as if Silva's skills have diminished to the level where he is not an overwhelming favorite in this fight whereas in say 2012 he still would have been. He's past his prime in my opinion even with the leg break aside.. And if the Michael Bisping that beat up Cung Le shows up Anderson might be in for a long night.

I'm a sentimental guy and despite my dislike of Bisping over the years, I'd still feel bad for him if he never got the title shot and retired as an afterthought or as some faded old highlight reel victim (Vitor, Hendo, possibly Anderson).

I would lol.

PS: Stop swagger jacking my name breh.

Haha if the Bisping that beat up Cung Le shows up............well if the Anderson that beat up like 25 guys in a row shows up what the fuck happens then?

It's somewhat of a toss up. TRT-less over the the hill Anderson Silva vs One-eyed over the hill Michael Bisping.

I got Silva, by being the better fighter.

Calm down bro lol, I never said Anderson couldn't win. In fact I heavily implied I could be crazy for picking against him. Take a chill pill, Bill... For real.. Deal?

Sorry in advance, very sleep deprived

Wouldn't surprise me with his cardio. The only outcome that would shock me would be an early stoppage for bisping.

I have a feeling. Mainly based on the fact that Anderson's 40, coming off a leg break, doesn't need to fight, wouldn't have much fire left and is coming from a big layoff… He will be a shadow of what he once was, but that still might be enough. Not sure though.

This is the most important fight in Bisping's career. He'll be prepared, and in the best shape of his life despite his age. That said, he's going to lose. I'm very confident that a "faded" Anderson is still dangerous enough to end this fight with an exclamation mark.

I think it's a bit crazy, yes. Silva is 40 but it's not like Bisping is young - he's 36. Both men aren't young and both have been knocked (Silva once, Bisping twice). It goes without saying that when you're 40, you're far away from your physical peak. Silva also was hesitant in throwing leg kicks after his injury and the question is if he'll ever feel comfortable throwing mean leg kicks. Still, what can Bisping do? Does anyone think he can outstrike Silva? Silva is by far the better striker. That doesn't mean he can't get caught, but the probability of that happening is very low especially considering that Bisping isn't a power puncher. The only likely outcome where Bisping wins is by decision and I have a hard time seeing him surviving for five rounds against one of the best strikers in MMA.
