Alternative Pyramid Theories

Only when people post false things with impossible feats like you were suggesting with melting and re-vitrifying limestone. ; )
I presented Davidovitz' theory that the blocks were poured...I never said it was what I believed to be the case. To the contrary, I believe they quarried.

I liked the water theory where they use tunnels of water to float the blocks

Creative, and much preferable to the antiquated ramp theories. As good as any honestly. The fact we still don't have any sort of consensus on how they did it, especially regarding the extreme precision of Cheops, should tell you that something more than meets the eye took place.

1 thing i want to know is why the pyramid shape structure was built on almost every continent on earth. Why did so many civilizations that supposedly never interacted with each other all decide to build pyramids.

I like your avatar TS I noticed it the first time I saw it. Theres metal found in that chamber that hadnt even been discovered when the pyramids were built thats hard to explain away. Also the pyramids are almost exactly in the middle of the earth and pointed to star constellations back then. Ye I dont believe the crap about land bridges and jews as slaves building the pyramids. The rocks used to build the pyramids weighed around 2 tons each I dont see people being able to move that kind of weight around and so high

I watched a video of some fucking nerd dofus built a mini rock statue and he moved insane amounts of weight with simple physics tricks. He did this by himself. Physics are a hell of a tool box to get shit done.

Plus, there was no internet back then so everyone was bored. They literally had nothing better to do so they built rocking pyramids.

look at one fat loser can do in his spare time. No need to thank aliens.

Anyone looking towards Aliens is silly, no real point in bringing them up. This "fat loser" and his leverage tricks have almost nothing to do with the actual difficulty of building something like Cheops, but, it is a fair sign to lay people that ancient people can show ingenuity just as today..

You'd be surprised (or maybe not) how many people actually think this despite how dumb it is.

Not the most fascinating speaker, but the subject is interesting.

Well, if you want to build something tall, stable and architecturally simple, a pyramid shape would be the way to go.

Best way to stack rocks bro

How did they light the tunnels? They must have had some other form of lighting other than the classic flame torch.

You're talking about Coral Castle iirc

Coral Castle is a fascinating place. If that site interests you at all, check out this video - it has some very plausible explanations for how Ed accomplished the cutting and quarrying of the coral stones used to construct that megalithic site, all by himself.

The key, of course, being machinery; run using electricity/magnetism.

Lever and pulley. There's a reason why it's a pyramid. The slanted slopes help them pull the stones up top. With a big enough pulley and enough big ropes and man power, 2ton stone will weigh like a feather.
