As soon as he fought masvidal 2x the Usman dickriders really needed to tone it down. Instead they're doubling down and now mas is suddenly one of the best fighters ever. Because he koed fucking Ben askren lmao.

I'm a penn fan but fuck man, some of those guys are really smoking that good stuff lol. The mental gymnastics required to think quitting via refusing to get off the stool is fine, but tapping makes you not a man forever afterwards.

It's just dumb and has no logical basis to it whatsoever.

Yes in between rounds when nobody is hitting you as you receive water and ice then decide to quit is all good..

Someone on top of you reigning down punches as your head bounces off the canvas and you quit is legacy destroying..

Both had that same quality: put you on the edge of your seat and made you fear for their opponents. Extremley unpredictable. Jones has some of that but not the explosiveness of the former. Mighty mouse and GSP* take 3rd.

He tested positive when he was coming back from that leg break. If he was a serial cheater it would be another story

The yakuza were likely not only turning a blind eye to peds in pride, but were supplying their fighters with them..
 
They are 1A and 1B for me, but Jones literally can't be denied at this point.

He is on his own tier.

GSP had a great career, the best career of them all. But he's not a better strait up fighter than Fedor or Anderson and that's why I don't put him up there.

I hate posting this gif but it's my belief, I can't call you goat if you can't execute a simple sub. GSP was not more skilled than Fedor, Silva, or Jones.

No . Fedor had better longevity. Fought undersized. Anderson had some more impressive wins but overall I'd say Fedor

I consider Fedor Emelianenko the HW GOAT.
I consider Anderson Silva the MW GOAT.

Arguing anything beyond that, for instance trying to compare fighters from different divisions, becomes far too subjective which is precisely why I don't engage in P4P discussions.
