Still got GSP over Jones. Better quality wins in their prime but it's 1a and 1b. I think it turns out Gane can't grapple to save his life, never fought someone with decent grappling his entire career, probably very overrated honestly. We will see when Gane fights a guy like Spivak, Aspinal, Blaydes in the future if it's just a glaring hole.

He won't even be the greatest HW if he beats Stipe, he wouldn't even be a greater HW than DC. People seem to think you suddenly take ones accomplishments once you beat them.

It doesnt change the past per say..but it does raise your legacy up based on the other guys successes and u beat him...

For example if someone took Khabibs 0 and never did another thing career wise... he'd still be the guy who did it forever... Much like Buster Douglas who was the first to beat Tyson....he took alot from Tyson and he pretty much became the man overnight...

That's not what I am saying. It certainly elevates your career but no one considers Conor better than Aldo at FW when it comes to their all time standings. You don't just leapfrog them.

Jones all the way. I have NO doubt that if Jones in his prime fought Fedor in his prime in an Open weight tournament, that he would beat Fedor, and probably finish him. When Jones is motivated, he is nearly unbeatable. Best ever.

Now when the dust has settled after this weekends card I feel like its pretty obvious that no one in the sport is even close to Jon Jones. He went up to heavyweight like he said he would and he made it look easy.

I cant really say I blame Francis Ngannou for turning down 8 million to fight Jones.
