It's always been odd because there were multiple interviews (like, videos...on the internet) where he either said he was signing, wanted to sign, or was disappointed they couldn't sign The Last Emperor. I've always seen it as Fedor and the team tried to shoot the moon (ie build us a stadium and co-promote with M1 lolol), bet on themselves, and ultimately lost their position of power by losing to Fabricio.

Should we not be frustrated with he and the team, or is it just be mad at Dana or nothing?

Sure, M-1 Global asked for (I believe) 50-50 PPV rights for Fedor fights?

Considering they were only supplying 1 fighter of note, that was obviously kinda silly.

And yet, Strikeforce and Bellator both managed to strike deals to have Fedor fight, and it didn't wreck either promotion, so obviously M-1/Fedor were willing to negotiate in a way that we were told they absolutely would not.

But yeah, Fedor and his team at the time have some responsibility, sure.

It really should have happened.

Fedor looked good in an org that was notorious for fake fights. He also looked good in M1 where he just so happened to be co owner and writing the checks for the refs and judges. Then as soon as he moves to an officially sanctioned org where if any strings are pulled for him people are going to PRISON he gets absolutely dog walked 3 times in a row....Like lets be honest here at 33 years old Fedors Strikeforce fights were not even competitive.
