I have mixed feelings on Jones.

On one hand, he is a proven cheater. He was caught, and no one can deny this. It begs the questions "was he ALWAYS cheating?", "how much?", "how often?". It certainly taints his legacy, and for some nullifies it.
On the flip side of that coin, I believe that most MMA fighters are using one substance or another to give themselves an edge. They probably don't get caught but that doesn't mean that they aren't doing it.
Drugs or not, he has the most impressive career, imo, of any other GOAT candidate. He beat the most number one contenders, the most unbeaten fighters, and the most former UFC champions of any division. If you took away the drug argument, he's undeniably the goat over silva, khabib, fedor, aldo and GSP, based on his level of competition, especially when you consider the fact that he fought those guys in their primes.
So where do I stand?
I'm still not sure. I don't know how much the drugs impacted his ability to beat great. They certainly didn't make him more creative, or influence his ability to snatch up unique submissions.
I'm always on the fence with this one...

im only mad that he pissed hot and got suspended and ruined 2 years of his prime. im also angry at jones when he couldnt piss clean and the UFC moved and entire event to another state less than a weeks notice to accomodate him. i had tickets to that fight, and couldnt make it out to cali on short notice like that. fuck him for that.
jones is the dumbest fucker alive. if everyone is on PEDs (as most claim) 99.9% of all fighters piss clean.... jones prob has the greatest fight IQ of all time, but yet dont have the IQ to cycle properly. and fail numerous times.

I think it should be like pre-USADA as it seems to be going now.
Guys were juicing, but it wasn't like Pride.

That said, if Jones is doing coke and week with strippers the night of fights, hes not going to be as tight with drug testing as the dedicated D1 or even HS athlete who was evading tests

He only has two (2) confirmed failures, or adverse findings to use the USADA terminology. He has dozens of abnormal findings due to USADA's testing methodology for turinabol being ass (which they have not only acknowledged, but ended up re-tooling their system as a result of acknowledging).

But anyway, it's good to see that Sherdog naivety when it comes to roids is still alive and well, to the point where only Jon Jones and TJ Dillashaw have ever used banned chemicals.

I'd simply ask for proof. Cause I can pull up proof for both Jon and Anderson. I know people like to post that picture of GSP on his knees right after he had a fight and that's just hilarious. You mean a guy will be pumped up, full of adrenaline and he'll look really jacked?? The idiocy of some people and that's coming from someone who defended Sean Sherk back in the day.
