You agree that athletes are suppose to be at matches because they compete there, and that soldiers show up solely to do their political performance, no?
Or do you buy mezzanine level seats to events that are exclusively military parades with no sports going on?

I clearly argued that the military is non-political. The military has always served any Presidential administration, belonging to any party.

I thought the XFL was supposed to start around now. Got curious, turns out it started months ago, but has already been shut down. What's the deal, I don't remember seeing anything about games anywhere.

Fox and NBC have some football on Easter Sunday. There have been endless ads for it during NASCAR races.

Edit; Fox and NBC are simulcasting a USFL game on Saturday April 16th. I don't think both the USFL and the XFL can succeed. I hadn't really looked into it as I had assumed that they were basically the same league in a power struggle over who owned it. The original USFL just seemed like a stunt to sue the NFL by people who wanted and NFL franchise. To those unfamiliar with what happened, the USFL won the anti-trust case but the monetary award was only $1 which triple damages raised to a whopping $3. After taking it all the way to the Supreme Court, the NFL lost and was forced to pay the award plus interest whih amounted to $3.76

Supposedly, the new XFL season starts on February 18, 2023.

Seems like a money laundering scheme or something. Ozark season 5, instead of opening casinos to clean their money, it's a shitty football league.
