All the Dolce hate, it ends now.

hey TS...

How come there are no famous people testimonials like some UFC fighters -- would definitely lend it some credibility. As it stands now, it's just slightly more convincing than snake oil.

Yet you clicked, read and responded. If you do not like pepsi, why would you go to the store, buy one and then drink it?

I clicked,

didn't read

but responded to some white belt telling me and others "it stops now"

in short, fireball is a keyboard warrior for capitalism, plain and simple. and, the gods know it needs more defenders (shoot me now;).

maybe we should also commend dana and the ufc-bras for forming a quasi mma monopoly (at least in certain regions), wallmart, for becoming the largest business on the globe through their anti-union and anti-women practices, monsanto for crafting an ingenious way to sell more genetically modified food to more people then ever before.......why, well because they have clearly done it better then their competition.

ts has a stupid argument. if the invisible hand was really invisible then why do i keep seeing it!

A friendly warning: I will report users who slander Dolce and steps over the line. Keep the moderators happy by being civil. Even if you do not like Dolce you can post about him without using profanity or being hateful.

This thread is littered with those words you just mentioned. Please note that I am not claming that every single person here is a hater.

All I am saying is that some people here really need to think about what they are saying. But dont we all, all the time?

Bj Penn had a lot of things to say about Dolce after the Edgar fight. Penn claims there was a huge misunderstanding as Dolce told him that he was at the grocery store gathering food to help put weight back on after the cut. After hours of waiting, Penn decided to go the grocery store himself where he found Dolce. Penn says that Dolce wasn't acting very professionally. Not my opinion, mind you.

Maybe Dolce really needs to think about what he is saying. All the time.

I am arguing against those who are saying unfunded things. Why? Maybe because I would like to think of myself as a decent person.
So you say you are not some big Dolce fan. There isnt some current event in MMA news about him let alone one creating negative reactions. This isnt his target demo. So why this thread, now, and on here? There are all kinds of injustices in the world and you decide to randomnly take up defending Dolce to nobody in particular? Seems strange

lol

I have seen serveral threads lately that make fun of Dolce and mock his diet.
Maybe you haters should read what he and his method is all about before you come with unfair critique. These are some of the testimonials from the dolce diet site:

I know for a fact that Dolce takes his work very, very, very seriously, he knows his shit and create miracles for his clients. Its about helping the athletes. The kind of character assassination that occurs here damage both his career and reputation since it will show up if you would Google his name. Fight fans should be grateful that skilled coaches are helping their favorite fighters to perform better.

The tragedy is not that athletes use the Dulce diet, it is that athletes like Gastelum and Lineker dont. They could be kings of their divisions or even lower with the right diet.
Weird. It turned that first guy into Kenny Florian.

Ok look, there is always two sides to the story. Two things I heard:

1, I heard that the grocery store was not particularly well sorted which made it hard to find the products. The " hours " of waiting thing is just ridiculous.

2, No "hours of waiting", more like right below the 30 minute mark.

source? or is this side of the story from your own memory of how events occurred?

Be careful guys, NOT Mike is going to report you all for fighter bashing.

Oh my god, it's really Dolce! What was it like working with Chael Sonnen? Is he a chill guy in person?

"I woke up the next day (fight day) at 150 [pounds] and I ate this much food for the 13 hours before the fight that day. Dolce didn't come to check on me, or monitor my weight, and I couldn't get in touch with him. I don't feel there was any real attempt to get back to my sparring weight after weighing in."

-Quote from Bj Penn posted on foxsports.com

"I figured that paying this guy $1,000 a day, I could just focus on the fight and Dolce would focus on the food and weight cut. But I guess that was my job to focus on the food, and my weight, and the money was charity for the Dolce Diet."

I think the man seems to be doing a very good job, Sherdog does in no shape or form reflect that.

Just do a search for "Dolce" on the forum and see what comes up. Maybe I react beacuse I am a decent person who wish others well?
