Dolce is just selling a service that some fighters badly need. He obviously has some knowledge but also believes in some bullshit like "sweating toxins out". He may be expensive for many but look at how he could have saved Kelvin a bunch of money by ensuring he stays as 170lbs and being in line for a title fight.

To me he just comes across as a guy who's trying really hard to sell himself when he should just be honest and not make snarky remarks like "I add zeros to fighters paychecks". He wouldn't be in business if he wasn't giving results to at least some people. Some people just can't be helped because they don't have the drive.

Consider the placebo effect as a possibility.

Or he attaches himself to people who would have been successful anyway, and attributes it to his intervention.

Not saying these are the cases - just saying there are possibilities beyond "well he makes money, it must work".

Meaning if CNN or the Wall Street Journal says Dolce is a scam, they can be sued. If some big business (like one of his competitors) says he's a scam, they can be sued. If..a huge star athlete says he's a scam, they can probably be sued (public eye)

but me? I'm not in the public eye, I'm just some random citizen. I'm about 99% positive I can say Mike Dolce is a complete scam artist and any attempt he makes to sue me for slander will be thrown out very easily.

it would be a complete waste of the court's time. I don't have the pull to cause someone like Dolce any real problems.

Which law paragraph and definition which is appropriate is not really that important, my point is that if you slander a business or person you might find yourself in trouble with the law or get sued.
