Well that's basically what happened. One woman tried to breach the inner core guarded by members of the secret service and now she's dead. None of the videos show much leading up to the shooting so it's unclear if she was warned or not.

I wouldn't say that post is really calling for violence, just saying that a clearly communicated plan should have been in place.

At some point you have to know if you're trying to get close to politicians with seemingly hostile intent, you're risking getting shot.

I guess I missed those posts. I didn't really participate in most of the BLM threads, as I found the rioting and looting to be impotent, albeit mostly justified, rage that was counterproductive to the change they were aiming to enact.

I agree that reveling in someone's death is ugly. The people storming the Capitol building deserve consequences, but death isn't one of them.

Cops went overboard in shooting her. Articles and video I have seen does not paint her as an imminent deadly threat. She could have been maced or stunned. Even when folks do something illegal, the response should be measured. No need to go from zero to deadly force, there are various levels of force in between.

I saw one video of a crowd facing an entrance and then every milling over a person that is reputed to be her. The protesting in this video looked tame, not what I would call imminent threat to life. Do you have a link to the video you are referring to?
