Crime All charges dropped against Jussie Smollett

Let’s be real here, this isn’t a major crime and he shouldn’t get life. I think a year and a conviction on his record is probably about right
He deserves longer than that. He needs to be made an example to discourage others from lying like this. If there had been two unlucky white guys in that area that evening their lives would have been ruined.

Man I've gotten so much entertainment from this fiasco and every time I think it's over, there is more drama. Even the most brilliant, creative author couldn't have come up with a story like this.

I'm more interested in them uncovering corruption with the Chicago legal system, than I am for any punishment for Smollett. I mean, when you bend over backwards to save some actor from what might've been some community service and parole at worst(he was never going to prison over this), you know some shady back door dealings went down. My question is why, and for whom did they do this for, because they sure as fuck didn't bury this in a blatant disregard for due process, to protect some c-list actor.
Yeah those people need fired

Nah
It’s just a false police report
However, had he accused somebody that would be a hate crime. Then we could really see how
Dumb hate crime laws are

I'm pretty sure that's how Chicago cops feel in general

It's gotta be so fucking weird for his friends and family. You're obliged to have his back and support him, but deep in your heart you know he's a lying motherfucker.

No chance he does more than a few days tops, but it's a nice thought. Probably still avoids jail, even with a prior of lying to police that he was charged for (prior to any of this, where he impersonated his brother or something---gave his info).

Well @Falsedawn was taped in his natural habitat here:

...and I’m pretty sure I saw @M3t4tr0n there too screaming at the sky

Hahaha <45><45><45>

I love me some Hodge twins

I'm really flattered that you guys all think about me when you're feeling particularly bitchmade, but I don't feel the same way. Sorry simps.

^^^^ Damn this kid is pissT. falseDOWNS probably uses the n word repeatedly as well

I wonder if Jussie finds having his show canceled worth it

Better question is does the cast feel asking for him to be brought back was worth it - the show was renewed then the entire cast wrote a letter asking for Jussie to be brought back so FOX/Disney said this is the last season.

I hope they make an example out of him. I doubt he'll see time considering he will somehow use the race card along with his connections. But it would be a miscarriage of justice if he did not go to jail considering what he was prepared to do. Fake hate crimes ruin lives. Sometimes, peoples reputations are permanently harmed even after the fake hate/rape crime is exposed. Besides being a racist asshole, Jussie is a prime example of why this culture of Victim Privilege is so dangerous.

Things you can get away with being famous and rich....

Gosh, a celebrity got his picture taken with a President, checkmate libtards!

His contacts to Obama certainly helped him in this case. Obama staffer intervened on his behalf.

The sheer ugliness of the women involved almost makes me want to stop following it. These "women" are hard to look at.

A former top aide to Michelle Obama refused to be served a subpoena Wednesday related to her contact with Chicago prosecutor Kim Foxx in the Jussie Smollett case.

The subpoena was issued by former Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien as part of her request for a special prosecutor to investigate the Cook County state’s attorney’s handling of Smollett’s criminal case, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

O’Brien wants the former first lady’s one-time chief of staff, Tina Tchen, to produce “any and all documents, notes, phone records, texts, tape recordings made or received at any time, concerning [Tchen’s] conversations with Kim Foxx in re: Jussie Smollett” at a May 31 hearing.

But Tchen wouldn’t accept the subpoena, according to the process server.

Yup. This is bigger than Smollet at this point.
