This was an unexpected turn. But I'm going to wait until I know more as to why this was dropped.

My initial gut reaction would be that they can't prove he falsified the crime, just as they cant prove a crime was committed against him. So in the end we have something that may or may not have happened to a guy who may or may not have been lying?

Like I said...I need more info to come to light.

Mayor Ram Emanuel is saying live right now that this was criminal whitewashing and a miscarriage of justice, that this is going to tell everyone that they can report fake crimes and get away with it while casting all real hate crimes into doubt.

I’m not talking about the effectiveness of Chicago PD at finding criminals, I’m talking about the state prosecutor filing charges against people that have clear evidence of committing a crime.

Plus, there’s a good chance the killer is dead. A lot of the killers in Chicago gangs end up getting street justice.
