Just another example of a theory I've held for a while. Draws or prospective draws get way more chances to recover on average and have fights called earlier in their favour on average. Look at Rousey/McMann 1 or Carwin/Lesnar. This is just another example in the long list. Aljo wasn't out, clearly recovering to get back to his feet, and the fight was stopped early.
