Oh I know, which is why I said I liked it till then. When the end of a movie does not have a pleasing payoff, it affects the whole. But I still enjoyed the visuals and battles before the live birth.

Even if Warrick from CSI was a character. Having Hellboy opposite as his drinking buddy made up for that :p

There were some cool ideas and scenes like the aliens eviscerating one of their number to escape, the underwater sequence, and Call was a cutie. But the way they brought Ripley back, the dynamic between her and the hybrid and the "Alien sex scene" left me cold.

Felt like more of a spinoff than a canon film in the series.

Wacky and weird is fine on its own, but not in an Alien movie.

I'll put it this way: Alien Resurrection to me is a lot like the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies -- standing on their own they're fine, maybe even good, but as Star Trek movies they're terrible.

I guess I'd rather be entertained--in some capacity--than be bored. Alien: Resurrection at least managed to hold my attention by feeling creative and by doing unexpected things. Alien 3 just made me yawn.

I appreciate it's wacky B-movie vibe, but at the end of the day, it's pretty fucking stupid. Decent visuals though.

Wow looks like he does a lot of video game movie adaptions. How long until he ruins my favorite franchise of all time and makes "Dead Space"?

Neither have I, but I know his reputation.

Just watch this classic clip from 2003's House of the Dead.



And keep in mind Uwe Boll considers himself to be on the same level as Cameron, Spielberg, and Kubrick.

I guess it's referred to as the Viper's Nest scene. I couldn't find a good video but here's an explanation from the filmmakers/set designers:

I guess calling it a "sex scene" (or orgy, in a way) isn't quite accurate because the whole Giger Alien design has this quasi psycho-sexual horror aspect to it. But it always came off that way to me when I watched it.
 
As far as I am concerned this movie never happened and the same goes for alien 3.

He can scrap against nerds that had never been in a fistfight in their lives whom Boll hand-picked because they criticised his movies.

I'm 6'0, 215 pounds, and could whip his ass in an MMA or boxing match.
