I say the show goes downhill after the first two episodes. That's the norm for most shows these days.

There's probably a reason they released and cleared critics reviews for just the first two episodes. We'll see.

This once again looks like tiktok v Aliens. They keep casting a bunch of kids rather than convincing actors who look the part. They did the same thing with Romulus. I know it seems illegal to have a male protagonist in the Alien world, but it would be a nice change. At least cast a chick that looks like a bad ass rather than a tiktoker with a bowl cut.

IMO what they're doing with synths housing downloaded children's consciousnesses is interesting while being creepy as fuck.

You have a lowered sense of mortality in the synth bodies couple with the giddy immature performance from the actors but in the horror of this scenario.

Super hero jump was still lame though.

Even if her synth body can take the forces, she should have displaced a massive amount of sand and landed with a shockwave.

Good horror, questionable physics.

The physics of that bothers me less than the fact that the Xeno seems to slaughter everyone around joe and constantly leave him alive lol. The trailer for episode 3 does it again. Dude holds the world record for Xeno near misses.

Weaver looked young as fuck in Alien. But she was also playing a 30 year old experienced crew woman in Alien.

The Synth is a child trapped in a 20 year old's super body. She's a fucking robot. Why would you want an older butch badass looking chick? You can't suspend disbelief because she looks young? In a movie with fucking imaginary aliens set in the far away future?
