It sounds like they have a pretty clear political agenda. That could go either way as they will either/or both... piss off a lot of people or endear teh audience with that stuff.
Hopefully their political agenda is laced in with effective but not bombarding craft... so that we're not watching a documentary of their agenda. iow... I enjoy someone making their political stance, but it has to be done very cleverly as to not interfere with the underlying story in which we're all really here to see.
On some small level... we want to see a Xenomorph exploding out of someone's chest & we want to see how fooking dominant teh alien is vs other creatures (such as ourselves) but we don't want too much nor too little of that stuff.
It's a fine line this franchise has bobbled back n forth on... & I would expect the creators have enough data on their failurez & successez, to give it an educated attempt at making something that runs that fine line between acceptance & non-acceptance.
I find myself a bit different than most as I absolutely loved Alien vs. Predetor & rate it 2nd only 2 teh original... (I"m now exposed)... but that said, I'm looking forward with great hope that they can straddle all teh goodz n badz of teh past.
