Alexander "Storm" Shlemenko should go to UFC

I doubt Dana is in a hurry to sign someone who recently lost to Tito.

Shlemenko is a small MW that should be fighting at WW. What welterweight in the UFC you think could beat Tito at LHW?

I believed in him till he lost to Hector Lombart and an aged, UFC-cut Tito.
He's an entertaining warrior but Tier II and not UFC fighter.

thats not true, he's def UFC worthy he's just not a top tier MW.

There's a ton of second-tier fighters in the UFC that would get dusted by Bellator's top 5 in any division. Granted, yeah Shlemenko isn't really a top 15 guy. He'd still be a fun fighter in that awkward range of 30-15.

Doubtful, considering UFC cuts like Rampage are dusting their creme of the crop.
It's a Tier II promotion, admit it and move on with life. UFC= NFL >Bellahore

Rampage wasn't even "cut" from the UFC, he just didn't resign. Rampage, by no stretch of the imagination, "dusted" King Mo. Only M'Pumbu and Beltran (who also happens to be a UFC cut so he shouldn't even count by your logic). Rampage is irrelevant to this discussion anyways, he's an LHW who has never fought Shlemenko.

Besides, it's not like all Bellator fighters are made in some "Bellator factory". Alvarez, who may or may not have been made in your theoretical "Bellator factory" also happens to be top 5 in the UFC. Your argument makes absolutely no sense, good day to you.

Right...Rampage lost 3 in row in UFC, that's called being cut homeay. I never said there was a "Bellator Factory" they're a good Tier II promo, for cut UFC fighters and mid-level talents and that's about it.

Kind of hard to call a guy the UFC fought to get back a cut.

Oh yeah and Shlemenko is #20, he is top 20 (though barely). His best option is to sign with KSW and fight for the belt.

When did they want Rampage back, he lost 3 in a row and is now cruising in a lower Tier Promotion.

Even if they did want him back it's just for popularity. He's one of my favs Ioved his Trilogy w Wanderlei...I would keep watching their rematches....

Rampage is also very well-rounded but past his prime. You're right Shlemenko is top 20.... these MMA Hipsters like to find obscure fighters (usually Eastern European or some strange country no one even knows exists) and hype them up like they're the biggest thing ever but the UFC is too mainstream so they choose to fight elsewhere.

Haha, is this what inspired your Hipster thread? I actually agree with your point about Eastern European fighters being hyped up too much. Tybura and Blachowicz both looked terrible tonight, lol.

Hell, just listen to his comments about Bader, who was putting together good wins.
I agree, however anyone who fights even the relatively-current version of Tito while giving up 20 lbs or more is not gonna have an easy time.

This is true.

For example, I have touted the skills, ingenuity of positional transitions, drive, speedy learning of a new art (striking) and potential that I've seen in the young Polish Bellator fighter Marcin Held for a while. Being an MMA hipster, this is exactly in line with your description.

Shlemenko is not big enough for middleweight IMO and he will have his hands full against Ramzan Emeev, here is a picture of me and him this past weekend, I'm 6ft3 240lbs he looks smaller than most welterweights in the UFC, he is a class act he took pictures and talked to everyone and even went outside and took pictures with everyone there.

Wow. And you're right, he never even looked very shredded at weigh-ins. Good fighter with the body composition and style of a larger man.

Uhm... he CAN'T. He's suspended in the US for 2-3 years.

Rory MacDonald, Tyron Woodley, Johny Hendricks, Carlos Condit, Robbie Lawler... etc.

I met alexey Olynik as well he was not as big as I expected either, most Russians IMO fight at a more Natural weight and in the long run I think it benefits your health tremendously ...

I believe it. Considering California's new dehydration restrictions, I think this will be a more common approach, especially if a national restriction ever makes it through, it will become the norm. And it will be good.

Yep mainly will affect welterweight and lightweight and Featherweight I think....

Definitely. Hoping it'll have some LHW to HW results too!
I would like to now Jon Jones walk around weight, and I know OSP cuts a good amount I trained at the same gym for a few years, and he is bigger than some heavyweights I have seen.
