I'd have to disagree on a couple points. Grasso is not a particularly good range fighter, she's much more effective in the pocket than she is on the outside. Every time she gets in the pocket and bangs out some clean punches, her opponents are either hurt & wobbled or stumbling back in panic. Clark, Herrig, and Esparza all got knocked loopy by Grasso when she stepped in and threw down, the problem is she seem trained to point fight on the outside where she doesn't have the reach & speed to hit opponents clean. When she's on the outside she usually hits people on the end of her strikes where there's no power, but when she steps into the pocket she gets them in the power band and hurts them.

Grasso is not Antonina Shevchenko, she's not nearly as good at playing the outside counter-striking game, she doesn't have the reach, reads, and timing to pull it off. If Grasso tries to play an outside game the fight will likely be close and I sure as hell wouldn't bet on a win for her. IMO she should stand & trade more than she usually does, use her power to actually do some damage. If she ends up on the wrong end of the trades then go try the outside game, but she needs to fight to win instead of fighting to not lose.
I would agree, however like you said, instead of trading on the inside, Grasso seems to prefer to stay on the outside. In this fight, I’d say that’s the smarter idea, as while Grasso might have more power in the pocket, that’s where Kim lands all her power shots as well. Also, unlike Grasso, Kim has no idea how to use her reach at all, so Grasso should be able to easily outpoint Kim on the outside, unless Kim turns on the pressure.

I just listened to a guy try to break down this fight, but started off with saying he doesn’t understand why Grasso is moving up to flyweight, and believes she could Make atomweight o_O

drives me nuts when people don’t do their homework and check basic facts before making videos, and then people actually praise their garbage. Of course, hard to know if anybody tries to pick him apart, because he publicly stated he has to approve all comments. I’m not an expert, and don’t claim to be (have even exclaimed I’m not), but I do work hard to know what I’m talking about, and I do my homework when it comes to history, stats, and verifiable facts.

I think that Alexa has the sort of look that often makes fans assume that she is much smaller than she actually is, as if she is close to being Tecia Torres size. But she isn't.
