After years of feeling insecure about his height, Dynzell Sigers underwent life-changing limb-lengthening surgery to grow half-a-foot taller.

Dynzell Sigers is a man from Georgia who had leg-lengthening surgery to increase his height from 5'5" to 6'. Sigers said he struggled with his height and was often rejected by women because of it. He said the surgery changed his life and self-perception.

Procedure:
The surgeon cut the bone in half
A rod was inserted into the bone
External fixators were attached to the bone
The fixators were turned daily for 90 days to gradually lengthen the bone
Recovery:
Sigers underwent physical and occupational therapy after the surgery
Results:
Sigers said the surgery helped him become the best version of himself, mentally, spiritually, and physically
He also said the surgery helped his rap career

He's definitely no sherdogger

These new rappers kill me with their wackness. Its almost like a parody now.

Only thing worse than the surgery is admitting you did it lol

Jermaine Dupree did alright as a short guy

this guy just needed a personality transplant

He's a manlet at heart. No length of stilts implanted into his legs is gonna change that. It's like cutting your dick off and pretending you're a woman!

So in a fight just chop his legs down because I'm sure that elongated shin is going to be brittle.

Jesus, titty fucking christ... money would have been much better spent talking to a psychologist...

This is what happens when your parents DON'T throw you in a pool as a toddler and tell you to sink or swim bitch. Dude missed out on having a complex over something worth having a complex over.

So he had his femur, and lower leg bones stretched? What about his humerus and forearm bones?

Won't he look out of proportion by stretching the arm and leg bones but torso remaining the same size?
The lower bones are broke and legs are stretched by adding metal between the broke bones.

Think of it like a beach house built on stilts.

Chop the stilts & add a piece to raise it up some.

If it makes him happy I guess. Considering it's a fairly new procedure I'd be curious to see how these cases fare in their old age.

Being short is definitely a disadvantage. The issue is that some guys don't have anything going on with them to compensate for it. They're not charismatic, not funny, not handsome in the face, not successful, etc. In those cases I can see why they get desperate and go to extreme measures.

Anyone that has ever had an injury or a surgery with broken bones know the pain is incredible. To do it on purpose for vanity is insane. But we see women do incredible procedures too. The Kardashians alone have done tits, asses, noses, cheeks, jaws, lips, brows, lipo, fillers, teeth, labia, eyes, eye lids, dermo, ears, stomachs, hair, phew......

I swear the one thing thay will make a far right fascist is that ever creeping knowledge that i was bullied by short people for being 6"4
You really should keep your shit posting to the WR. Imagine going through life thinking about an orange 6'4" man all day and night.

I feel the same way about this chap as anyone who compensates, like those who get hair plugs, or plastic surgery, or expensive watches. They're all sub par and they miss the point: it's not about the thing, it's about being confident in who you are.

Getting hair implants or leg extensions is the least manly shit you can do. I feel sorry for them.

You get confidence by being good at things, not by having the thing that people who are good at things have. It's technically retarded.

Guy just identified as a tall guy his whole life but finally got an operation to become the tall guy he knew he was.

I knew a guy who was incredibly insecure of his height. Took mystery pills and looked up all sorts of strange remedies to try to make himself taller. Constantly complained about how women don't like short guys. He made no other improvements like trying to get more jacked or work on his game/personality. Had a rather small frame and unfortunately also not a good looking person at all. Really got a shit deal in the genetic lottery. On top of it he had a terrible personality so had no redeeming qualities that I could see. I hope he made a change for himself and worked on improving something. Or at least gain some sort of acceptance for the card he was dealt. The funny thing is that he was the same height as me and I don't give a shit about being a manlet.

Sadly this is what normal humans do when they apply for a sherdog account but cannot pass our strict entry criteria.

Sad thing he still won't be accepted a mere 6' tall as that only makes him king of manlets. Sherdog entry begins at 6'6".

No, if you're notice, normal arm length is more to do with torso length.

If you have arms and legs, that are very long in relation to your torso, you end up looking like this guy.....Kermit-2014.webp
