Thats what I think as well.
 
on the one hand Izzy has more experience with the small gloves, 25 minute fight with 5 minute round and octagon shaped ring. With two fighters so close in skill, those small details can make a difference. On the other, Alex improved a lot since their last fight, probably Israel too, but he has been fighting lower level strikers for year while Alex was fighting the top kickboxers in the world, including at LHW.
 
@Mesos be honest. Have you actually seen both the kickboxing fights unedited?

First fight was all Izzy.

2nd fight was a close fight with a clear edge to Izzy before he got knocket out

Imo this third fight is 60/40 in favor of Israel adesanya. Probably even more. But i dont want to be to sure. Alex got crazy power.
 
It's a tough match up for Izzy. Alex is big, strong and fast and doesn't have a technical disadvantage.

This is going to be a kickboxing fight in a cage. The fight will be competitive of course but I think Israel will be fighting conservative, has alot more to lose here. Alot of moving, jabbing, angles, backpedaling but over 5 rounds I think Alex will find plenty of opportunities to cut off Israel, and land his combos.

With Alex's raw power and deceptive set ups he will be able to create opportunities to touch up Israel. All he needs is, one good punch to land and Israels chin collapses.

It’s a totally different fight from a massive octagon you can’t cut off to the glove size

adasanya is proven in mma passed the test of being in a war and won.

Alex is a novice. And a great time to fight him for Israel.

I’m rooting for Alex but If the odds are close I’d bet on adasanya

The Build up has been gross. I often wonder where these judges come from?
 
I too am sensing an Alex win...I can feel it in my plums

Mind you...if Izzy comes in full wrestler mode then I'm probably wrong

I think i took Charles but that was out of bias. I’ve always liked him. I actually like Izzy but i think styles make fights and this guy has beaten him twice in combat sports plus Izzy’s last few showings haven’t been great.
 
I don't like Izzy and I'd love to see that, but I'm just not sure.

Izzy does seem like he's truly evolved since his kickboxing days, and MMA striking is different than kickboxing. Those tiny gloves make a difference. Also, Izzy seems like he would have vastly superior wrestling ... so he could probably just wrestle Pereira down and win that way.

As a self confessed Izzy hater, I see Izzy being the overwhelming favorite. I'd basically give Pereira a puncher's chance to knock him out, but Izzy has more ways to win.
 
I believe that Izzy evolved into a counter striker and how to evade big shots. Logic though is telling me it could go either way by KO. My premonition is telling me Izzy by KO with gyno but my logical mind is telling me Alex will find just the right opening
 
Izzy's snoozefests resulted from his fear of power strikers. I really hope this doesn't turn out like that. Whittaker beat Izzy last fight- Adesanya is just a UFC poster boy.

Bruno is a legit grappler from Brazil and you put Izzy’s takedowns over him with no evidence? Cool.

The way I see this going
Izzy wins r1 by hit and run
Maybe r2
R3 he will feel Alex power again and his mind will be fucked, omg i cant lose to this guy a 3rd time
R4 he sleeps. Brutally
 
this fight is about who lands the big, fight changing shot first IMHO

I doubt that wrestling will be of much importance here

that said WAR Alex!
