Media Alex Pereira weighs in at 247,2 lbs — Heavyweight fight next?

Which weightclass should Poatan fight in next?

will the ufc sideline Gane and surprise everybody with Aspinall x Pereira?

maybe a mini HW run motivates him more than getting the LHW back.
But I dont know, even Ali said he expects Poatan x Ankalaev at the end of the year. Maybe Alex is just trolling

Jon will be crying if Poatan gets the TS

He really does love that cheetah print
He’s going to turn into one of those crazy old ladies in his retirement days

It would be better for 205 if he moved to HW. Alex has already beaten/fought everyone at 205 worth fighting except for Ulberg but who really cares to see that fight? I'm not a huge fan of Big Ank but there's many more fresh match ups with him holding the belt than Alex plus HW is in desperate need of drawing power right now..

I miss Chili’s
Used to eat there all the time back in the day

I would rather see Poatan at 205 to run it back with Ank next.

But if he were to leave behind the LHW division then I'd watch Pereira vs any HW. In all honesty I think there's a good chance of Pereira getting snoozed at HW but fuck it would be interesting to see what he would do there.

Aspinall vs Pereira would be huge even with him losing the belt in his last fight. With that being said tho, Aspinall is a nightmare matchup for Poatan but if he were to pull off a win against Tom the UFC/MMA world would go nuts having Pereira be the HW champ & being a champ in 3 different weight classes.

I think anyone would much rather pay to see Pereira vs Aspinall compared to Aspinall vs Gane, Lewis, or Almeida/Volkov.

Him at 247 pounds is objectively out of shape, but heavyweights are fat and sloppy. Guys like Tafa would get smashed by Alex but I wonder how he'd do against a Curtis Blaydes type of guy who is a true heavyweight and has the wrestling to get Alex down.

Shape at HW is hard to gauge. Aspinall is arguably one of the most in shape HWs but a WW built like he is would be called sloppy.

The HW division is in a funk after Jon Jones wimped out, Alex Pereira is just the kind of shot in the arm the division needs.

Dana should offer him a wedge to fight Volkov (the reward for "beating" Jailton), while Aspinall can dismantle Gane next for me.

Homie has a flat tire and posts eating killer meals from restaurants daily.

He'll diet down like usual and have no problem making weight.
